Free Energy - “Bang Pop”

Free Energy’s self titled debut is one of the best things I’ve heard all year—it’s simple, Thin Lizzy/Cheap Trick/Boston/whatever other big-hair/big-riffs-band-from-the-late-70s rock. And the video for “Bang Pop” captures all this perfectly; it’s high-school kids on the loose a la Dazed And Confused, some Freaks And Geeks, and Rock & Roll High School. Do watch.
